DIRECTIONS
Alyssa's Toy Box was started in October 2004, and is now called Alyssa's Toy Box Fund. Thousands of toys were donated to benefit children receiving treatment for cancer and other blood related disorders at University Hospital in memory of Alyssa. Children are given toys on special days like birthdays or on difficulty days when they need some much needed distraction. Funds deposited into Alyssa's Toy Box Fund will purchase toys and supplies for the Child Life Program, as well as help fund research and equipment purchases for the Pediatric Oncology Unit. Non runners/walkers who bring a new toy to donate to the Toy Box at Alyssa's Run will be admitted free!
Some Suggested Items include: Barbie Dolls • Baby Dolls • Books • Puzzles • Cars • Board Games • Legos/other building toys • Craft Items/Kits • Music • New Stuffed Animals • Electronic Games • CD Players/Radios
All toys donated at the run must be new in order to insure the children's health.
